Dextrose Monohydrate Reviews
Dexrtrose re uew
Item arrived promptly and is now 50% of my carbs in my post workout shake – mixed with maltodextrin and poedered oats.
Well priced, mixes easily and all round winner
Post w/out must
I train first thing in the morning and find I need a little something to carry me over till I make breakfast. This along with Earth Protein does the trick. Easy to mix, not too sweet and allows me to easily get in some extra calories.
Amazing product. I feel I have heaps more energy for longer after my workout and it makes my WPI taste incredible!!
Great value for money, even better service! After ordering my product, it was at my house within 48 hours. The product itself mixes in perfectly with any shaker. No need to use a blender. Couldn’t be happier.
Filtered & Sweet
A good quality Dextrose MH for it’s price.
Fine, sweet and goes well with any amino/shake.
Well packaged and delivered quickly. Great way to squeeze in extra carbs
Quick and easy way to get a fast digesting simple carbohydrate into my post-workout shake for intense insulin spikes. The flavour is just what you expect, SWEET. This can sweeten up a rather dull shake and be a welcome treat after a hard workout.
Fuller for longer
I use dextrose monohydrate after a gym session mixed in with protein.
I used to get hungry after about an hour and once I started taking this, I find it keeps me full for that bit longer as well as giving me the carbs I need sooner that what I would do before.
This makes my protein have a slightly sweeter taste, works great with vanilla ice cream flavour but not so much with chocolate.
I would recommend.
Should be noted this is essentially sugar and having one or two scoops of this isn’t for the non sweet tooth. So on that note don’t go mixing in spaghetti unless you like candy flavoured pasta. Apart from that it’s a good way of increasing my carb intake.
Cheaper options out there
Does the job, however brewing sugar for home brew can be picked up from the supermarket for about $3-4 a kg
Great source of carbs before and during training. I wish they use 1kg bags. The 5kg bag is impractical.
