Recuper8 Bulk Protein For Endurance & Recovery
Recuper8 includes a variety of ingredients which have been proven through clinical trials to assist endurance and enhance recovery for those competing in gruelling events. This formula is developed not just to provide necessary ingredients, but to ensure that actual validated doses are used as well as incorporating any synergistic effects where possible.
Recuper8 should be taken during training or any event, with one (80g) serve to be consumed each 1 – 2 hours, depending on the severance of the activity. In events which are less than 2 hours, many people will choose to have one serve during the activity, with another serve to assist recovery, directly after the event has finished.
For optimum replenishment and recovery, it is advised that the serve consumed directly after exercise is taken as soon as possible once the event or training is complete.
Recuper8 is scientifically formulated using a blend of carbohydrates, protein, free form amino acids and electrolytes that should assist with energy, hydration, reducing muscle soreness, reducing recovery time and sustaining energy levels throughout an event. By utilising the most verified ratio of carbohydrates to protein at 4-1 Recuper8 should minimise any rapid sugar spikes and crashes caused by high GI Carbohydrates. The role of protein and BCAAs/ Protein in Recuper8 is two fold, it helps sustain the delivery of energy to the body in a more linear fashion, and it plays a significant role in minimising muscle soreness and wastage as well as recovery post event.
In Recuper8 the Carbohydrates are approximately 60g per serve. It has been advised that carbohydrates levels of 1g per minute are optimal, and ideal osmolality is reached when 60g of the correct combination of carbohydrates are blended with 1000mls of water.

Recuper8 starts with a carefully balanced combination of varying carbohydrates, Maltodextrin, and Glucose. By incorporating a combination of medium and short chained carbohydrates the product should provide sustained energy. Incorporating multiple carb sources, Recuper8 can increase total carbohydrate oxidation in the body, by having two sugar transports active in the gut Research has shown that by incorporating a blend of carbohydrates, the total level of carbohydrate absorption can be significantly higher (up to 30%) than using a single carbohydrate, which is demonstrated by higher lactate levels in subjects.
Our formula also utilises a free form BCAA (Branched Chain Amino Acid) blend along with a virtually lactose free WPI source for protein. Recuper8 combines carbohydrates to protein at a scientifically validated 4-1 ratio, rarely used in such products, but a ratio very heavily supported by research.
The total protein per serve is 14.5g, with 7.5g of these being BCAAs.
By utilising free form BCAAs Recuper8 provides the necessary building blocks in greater concentration. BCAAs being absorbed rapidly also mean a faster delivery of the product to the muscles, with less risk of stomach discomfort. BCAAs have also proven to aid recovery, by decreasing muscle soreness and a better retention of muscular force (so you can train harder, sooner) with doses of 7.5g the dose utilised in a serve of Recuper8.
The other addition to the product is Citrulline Malate, with a dose of 2000mg. Citrulline Malate has been shown in studies to reduce muscle soreness, increase BCAA absorption as well as increasing muscular endurance, exactly what is required for athletes who compete in sustained events. It has also been shown to reduce the sensation of fatigue, which is another important factor for those in endurance sports.
Finally, a combination of electrolytes, chloride, potassium, magnesium and sodium which will assist in maintaining and replenishing electrolyte levels. These have all been included in ratios which are consistent with research and optimum hydration.
Directions & Ingredients
Recuper8 Directions
Recuper8 should be taken during an event, with one serve (80g) with 1 litre of water to be consumed each 1-2 hours, depending on the severity of the activity.
In events which are less than 2 hours, many people will chose to have one serve during the event, with another serve to assist recovery, directly after the event has finished.
For optimum replenishment and recovery post event, it is advised that the serve consumed directly after the event is taken as soon as possible once the event or training is complete.
For optimum hydration and nutrient levels, it is recommended that Recuper8 is blended at the suggested 80g serve per litre. If 2 litres of fluid are to be consumed then users can have 1 2 serves. It is recommended that no more than 4 serves of Recuper8 are consumed during an event.
Once an event is complete, it is recommended that one final serve of Recuper8 is consumed to aid recovery

Recuper8 (Out of Stock) Reviews
delicious!
I purchased this to use as a recovery drink after long mountain bike rides. Decided to make a half serving after a gym session just to test it out… 1 scoop/40g orange mango mixed with 500ml water in a shaker bottle. Mixes well and at that strength, I find the sweetness just right. No bitter taste or mouth feel. Easy to drink just like a BCAA. Only issue is the bag size – 2.5kg is huge! Some other flavour options would be nice too.
Fast Energy Replenishment
Excellent taste. No tummy issues. Replenishes my energy to perform more in competitive basketball. I can go all out every minute on the court.
Nothing else on the market comes close
Excellent product. I train mma 6 days a week and use this product intra and post training. I recover alot better and train much harder supplementing it. I didn’t give it full 5 stars because It does bloat me and I belive it’s cause of the dextrose, I would rather see them add waxy maze which would have no bloat. Other then that can’t talk highly of this.
Great for post workout...but too sweet
Another great product from Bulk Nutrients. Just what I need after a conditioning / endurance workout. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars (and to be honest, it’s very subjective but an issue I have with a lot of the flavoured products here) it’s just too sweet for my taste. Not as bad (sweetness wise) as the BCAA recovery but still quite sweet. I use less powder (if I plan on drinking this during a session) or add some more citrulline (which is super sour) to try and take the sweet edge off a little if I’m drinking it after a workout. That’s my only (minor) complaint. Other than that – excellent.
Worth it
I’ve been using Recuper8 for several years now, on and off, and I really notice a difference when not using it. For me, I start to use it during my workout and find that this helps with maintaining my energy levels along with post workout recovery. The only down side is that it’s still not the easiest to be fully mixed in a shaker or water bottle but that’s a minor point against what is a top product.
Want to Train Harder, Better, Longer...
Recuper8 is by far the best in my supplement stack. I’ve noticed a huge change in my physique since using this product. Bigger and Leaner results. I can train Harder and heavier without the fatigue factor kicking in half way through my sessions which means more gains. Very good product. Highly recommend!
Great product
Great product, can really feel the kick in when training hard and I will test it this weekend on race too!
would be great to have it a little less sweet and know what’s the PH of the Recuper8.
Added boost
I’ve just started taking this on longer runs as an electrolyte energy drink with the added benefits of some BCAAs.
1st time I took it mixed as directed, but I found it left my mouth needing plain water as well. Next run I took it mixed at 1/2 strength. Perfect. I had no need for water, and there was plenty of energy for me still. I’m having some great running results using this.
Much better than good for the price
I know how important intra-workout supplementation is, and I have used some of the best products available. Recuper8 stacks up very, very well and comes in at about a quarter of the price. A bit more variety in flavour would be nice, but that’s my only criticism.
Recuper 8 review
Flavor is good, could be better without mango and should includes another citric fruit. The foamy is classic and disperses It self quickly. Nutrition facts are great. Supports during ultrarunnins.
Recuper8
Has a really funky smell to it making it hard to drink out of open lid bottles. The flavour isn’t too bad, however, it leaves you really dry mouthed after drinking it.
Maltodextrin
Have been using R8 for over a year but have decided to find a comparable product that does not contain maltodextrin.
