Supplement Frequently Asked Questions
Where do you source your protein and other supplements from?
With such a wide range of products on offer, at Bulk Nutrients we source ingredients from across the world!
When sourcing raw ingredients for our products we look for the best possible quality for the best value. Generally, this sees our dairy proteins sourced from Australia, NZ and the US and our amino acids from Asia.
At Bulk, we’re sticklers for quality and purity in our supplements. All our suppliers are subject to ongoing testing and documentation to verify the quality of ingredients. This happens at Australian laboratories as well as in house with our Quality Assurance team.
Are Bulk Nutrients supplements natural?
If you’re looking to buy supplements that contain real ingredients and nothing but natural flavours and sweeteners, look no further than the Bulk Nutrients natural range.
Choose from natural protein powders, such as creamy whey and pure plant proteins including pea, rice and soy. Our vitamin and mineral blends, Red Fusion and Green Fusion, are also completely natural (and a great way to boost health and vitality).
Our natural products are of the highest quality, contain only the ingredients you’re after and are seriously good value for money compared to others on the market.
How do I get a free Bulk Nutrients sample?
It’s as easy as can be! Simply head to our sample request page, choose your sample, fill in your details and we’ll get it out to you. We know how important it is to try before you buy, that’s why we offer free samples of our most loved products! Choose from dairy and plant based protein powders, BCAAs, pre workouts and more.
Oh, and every time you place an order you can select to receive a free sample of our product of the month too. Simply click on the orange banner that says ‘ Add a free sample to your cart’ at the cart page.
Can I buy your product from my local supplement store?
Bulk Nutrients is an online supplement store, and it’s because of our solely online presence that we’re able to offer low prices on quality products every day!
The easiest and most affordable way to stock up on pure proteins and sport supplements is by shopping via our website. We offer speedy express shipping to NZ for all orders 2kg and under too!
Are you Australian owned and operated?
Yes Bulk Nutrients is very proudly Aussie owned and operated!
We develop, blend and package all of our products ourselves at our southern Tasmanian factory.
Should I take supplements while breastfeeding/pregnant?
We always recommend you discuss this with your GP as everyone is different, however there is nothing inherently unsafe about taking supplements during pregnancy.
What is the taste and texture of protein like?
It all depends on which protein you decide to buy. The most popular protein powder is dairy based whey and whey proteins are milky and creamy. Plant based proteins like our pea and rice protein combo, Earth Protein, have a thicker consistency. Or if you’re looking for something dairy free, HCP (hydrolysed collagen peptides) have a much thinner, watery consistency and Future Whey is much more like an amino acid – light and refreshing.
How do I get a coupon code/discount?
With Bulk Nutrients you can be confident you’re getting the best price for pure supplements every single day.
We love being able to offer lower prices all the time, rather than offering constant flashy discounts. At Bulk, you can buy direct from the manufacturer and we pass on the savings straight to you!
For being a part of team Bulk we like to thank you with our rewards system. Every dollar you spend on supps earns you a Whey Cool point. These points bank up so you can redeem coupons and earn VIP status too! Find out more.
What are the most popular gym supplements post workout?
If you’re chasing better recovery and lean muscle growth after training, we always recommend adding a protein powder into your diet.
Taken straight after your workout, a protein powder helps to kick start the recovery process. After exercise your muscles are looking for protein to help rebuild stronger than before. Taking a protein shake after a gym session can help reduce DOMS (delayed onset muscle soreness) in the days following training and will assist with developing muscle mass over time.
We recommend a pure whey protein such as WPI or WPC or for dairy free/vegan friendly options, Earth Protein or Future Whey are also great.
